    • Analyse tender documents, specifications, and client requirements to identify risks, opportunities, and deliverables.
    • Develop structured bid plans, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Technical & Commercial Coordination
    • Work closely with engineering, procurement, finance, and legal teams to prepare accurate, competitive, and compliant bids.
    • Ensure technical solutions are optimised, cost-effective, and tailored to client requirements.
    • Prepare pricing models, cost breakdowns, and value engineering proposals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as the primary point of contact for tender-related communications with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders to support pipeline growth.
  • Risk & Compliance
    • Conduct risk assessments on commercial and contractual terms.
    • Ensure all bids comply with health, safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements within the renewables sector.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Maintain a library of bid materials, case studies, and templates for efficiency.
    • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support strategic business development.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in tender management / bid management within the renewable energy sector, ideally with focus on Commercial Solar PV.
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV design, installation, and commercial models (e.g., PPA, EPC, O&M).
  • Excellent project management, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and financial models.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and tendering/bid management software.

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a tender, proposals, or commercial management role within renewables/solar PV.
  • Track record of delivering successful bids and securing contracts in the renewable energy market.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
  • Professional development and career progression opportunities within a growing renewable energy business.
  • Collaborative and innovative working environment with a strong sustainability ethos.
