Electrical Technician – Digital Modification Project

Location: Manchester International Depot

Contract: 3-Month Contract

Ganymede Solutions is partnering with a major player in the UK rail sector to recruit an Electrical Technician for a high-profile digital modifications project at Manchester International Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a multi-million-pound fleet digitalisation programme, working on the latest in passenger-facing and onboard technologies.

The Role

As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

· Installing and testing digital equipment as part of a fleet-wide upgrade

· Working on systems such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet backbones, CCTV/NVR, USB sockets, passenger information systems, and driver’s cab upgrades

· Ensuring all work meets technical and safety standards within project timeframes

· Work together with a skilled team to deliver consistent quality

Requirements

· City & Guild or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

· Minimum 3 years’ experience working on rolling stock

· Strong team communication and attention to detail

· Available to start between 26th May and 2nd June

· Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening and full railway medical

· Must provide Right to Work documentation before start date

· A proactive, can-do attitude is essential
