Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global manufacturer to recruit Field based Engineering Technician. This role will work along the M62 corridor and would suit candidates located in Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Liverpool, Bradford, Leeds or CarlisleThe Engineering Technician will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and refurbishment of valves and actuators. Key responsibilities of the Engineering Technician include:
- Conducting maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various engineering systems and equipment
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Efficient troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
- Providing technical support and guidanceÂ
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
We would be keen to speak with Engineering Technicians / Electrically biased Engineers with the following:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role
- NVQ Level 3 electrical qualificationÂ
- 18th Edition
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering systems and equipment (valves and actuators would be desirable)
- Proficiency in diagnostics and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the M62 corridor
- Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in different weather conditions
