Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Organisational Development Advisor to join our client based in Manchester on a permanent basis.

The ideal Organisational Development Advisor will support business owners of SMEs with experience, knowledge and credibility within all areas of organisational development, but particularly in workforce development. The appointed candidate will support business growth and good employment practice

The duties of the Organisational Development Advisor include:

  • Establishing and maintain effective relations with business owners/leaders and key contacts
  • Promoting the work of the workforce development team and facilitate high-quality referrals
  • Partnering with the sector development leads to build on their workforce development plans
  • Identifying and supporting businesses in addressing workforce development challenges
  • Focusing on inclusivity by supporting business to employ a diverse workforce
  • Collaborating with diverse training providers to offer specialised training solutions
  • Handling client enquires and assess growth potential, workforce and business needs
  • Ensuring accurate recording and timely administration of client enquiries and referrals

The Organisational Development Advisor will ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent
  • Experience within a private sector organisation would be beneficial
  • A track record of manging workforce issues during periods of growth
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and processes
  • Technical knowledge in creating and delivering workforce development plans
  • Understanding of the training provision within the Great Manchester Region would be beneficial
  • Due to the agile nature of this role, having access to your own transport would be beneficial

The Organisational Development Advisor will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
