Job Title: Intermediate Estimator - Office Fit-Out (CAT A & B)
Location: London / Hybrid (2 days WFH)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (All-In)

Company Overview:
We are a dynamic and growing main contractor specialising in CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects. Our projects vary from fast-paced, quick-turnaround works to large-scale, detailed tenders. We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant/Intermediate Estimator to join our Pre-Con team.
Role Overview:
As an Intermediate Estimator, you will play a vital role in the preparation and submission of accurate cost estimates for negotiated fit-out projects. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Estimator ready to step up, or someone already at an intermediate level seeking more responsibility and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare competitive and accurate tenders for negotiated CAT A & B fit-out projects
Work independently on estimating duties with support from the Senior Estimator as needed
Interpret project drawings, specifications and scope documentation to compile take-offs and costings
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and build accurate cost plans
Attend site visits and meetings when required
Ensure tenders are submitted on time - from tight 2-day turnarounds to 4-5 week tender periods
Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and pricing templates
Work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure smooth project handovers
Requirements:
Experience working for a fit-out contractor (CAT A/B preferred but not essential)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to manage time and workload to meet tight deadlines
A proactive, self-sufficient approach to tender preparation
Good understanding of construction processes and commercial terminology
Proficiency in estimating software, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
