Overview

We are a multi-award-winning Commercial Insurance Brokerage seeking a talented individual to join our dedicated team. This role will be a permanent, full-time role based in our Rawtenstall office. We're seeking an experienced Commercial Client Broker to help manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors with varying premium spend.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day insurance requirements for commercial clients including MTAs, renewals, and new business
  • Conduct comprehensive market broking exercises and risk analysis
  • Prepare client reports, cover summaries, and FCA-compliant documentation
  • Attend trade related dinners, AGM's, trade shows, expo's etc
  • Attend joint client meetings with Client Executives
  • Maintain quality and customer service standards, ensuring client records are kept accurate and up to date

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' commercial insurance broking experience
  • Driving licence
  • Outgoing & personable
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Excellent literary skills
  • Strive to deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for all clients
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Organised & Attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building and relationship management skills are essential
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products/Lloyd's market
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with the ability to travel

Day-to-day

The day-to-day responsibilities include managing insurance requirements, conducting market broking exercises, preparing client documentation, attending trade-related events, and maintaining customer service standards.
