We are excited to be supporting a forward-thinking, independent insurance broker in their search for a talented Account Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a relationship-driven insurance professional who thrives in a client-facing role and is passionate about providing expert advice while building a strong book of business.

The Account Executive responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial clients - providing advice, negotiating with insurers, and ensuring cover meets their needs at competitive terms.
  • Generating and converting new business leads, both self-sourced and from internal referrals.
  • Working closely with Account Handlers to deliver a seamless client experience across quotes, renewals, and mid-term changes.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities and ensuring any gaps in cover are addressed.
  • Visiting client sites and delivering presentations to support acquisition or retention.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
  • Maintaining accurate records, ensuring prompt invoicing and credit control.
  • Staying informed on market developments and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Supporting and mentoring team members where appropriate.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance broking or account management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proactive, consultative approach.
  • Experience using Acturis would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A solid understanding of insurance products and the broking market.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing both client relationships and commercial targets.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
