Teachwise is currently looking for a skilled and experienced business & financemanagerfor a local secondary academy based in Manchester. The role will begin in January 2026and will continue on a full-timebasis.
The positionwill involve leading on all aspects of financial managementand strategic planning. You will also be responsible for administrative oversight and you willneed to have excellent communication skills.
The rolewill involve working closely with the principal, SLT and a variety of other 3rd parties, both internal and external.
Key skills:
- Experience working as a business manager/finance manager
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage and build rapport quickly
- Experience of working within schools
- Ability to identify and resolve a multitude of issues
- Strong team player
- A driven individual who can lead from the front
- An analytic approach
- Experience managing budgets, compliance and reporting
- Available for work from Januaryon a full-timebasis
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold anenhanced DBS certificate on the update service
