An opportunity has arisen for a CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance to join a reputable leader in its market! We're not here to bore you with corporate jargon or list every conceivable responsibility under the sun. You're a seasoned professional in risk and compliance; you know the drill.? They are looking for someone who doesn't just tick boxes, but challenges them. Someone who understands that real compliance isn't about saying "no" to everything but knowing when to say "yes" with confidence.? This is a hybrid role, working 2/3 times per month in the office. AS CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance, your responsibilities will include:
  • Leadership: Steering the Risk & Compliance ship, ensuring it's not just afloat but cruising smoothly.?
  • Regulatory Navigation: Liaising with the FCA, PRA, and the Central Bank of Ireland, positioning the company as a model of regulatory engagement.
  • Framework Development: Building and refining risk and compliance frameworks that are both robust and adaptable.?
  • Cultural Influence: Embedding a culture where compliance isn't feared but embraced.?
  • Strategic Input: Providing insights that influence business decisions, not just rubber-stamping them.
We’re looking for a CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance with:?
  • Experience in senior roles in risk and compliance within the financial services or insurance sectors.?
  • Familiarity with SMF4 and SMF16 responsibilities and have possibly dealt with PCF12 and PCF14 roles.?
  • The ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business strategies.?
  • A policy enforcer & a business enabler.?
  • The gravitas to influence at all levels, from the boardroom to the break room.?
