Finance Business PartnerManchester (Hybrid - 1-2 Days in Office)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a recognised, large multi-site business based in Manchester that is experiencing year-on-year growth and continued commercial success. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a pivotal point in its journey — offering real scope to influence decision-making and partner closely with key operational teams across the organisation.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, you’ll support a number of high-value, high-profile clients and work directly with operational leaders to:

  • Report on financial and operational performance
  • Drive margin improvement and commercial decision-making
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Complete monthly management accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, influence and challenge non-financial stakeholders across the business
  • Act as a key financial advisor to operational managers and senior leadership
  • Analyse key financial metrics including cost-per-activity, inventory costs, and labour efficiency
  • Deliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives (e.g. expansions, investments, process changes)
  • Collaborate on budget setting and forecasting with various departments
  • Work cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, procurement, and HR to align operational goals with financial strategy
  • Identify risks and opportunities that impact performance
  • Provide analytical support to the wider finance team and business

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering role
  • Industry experience in retail, supply chain, or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
  • Confident working with and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen

Working Pattern

  • Hybrid working model: 1-2 days per week across sites
  • Some travel required to partner effectively with teams across sites
