Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Manchester. This role offers an attractive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 and the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Commercial team, providing financial insights, analysis, support and strategic guidance.
You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of accounting, management reporting and forecasting models, as well as producing the annual financial plan.

What you'll do:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be instrumental in driving financial performance across the organisation. Your role will involve collaborating closely with various teams to provide strategic guidance based on your financial insights and analysis. You will manage the monthly financial close process, produce insightful financial analysis for senior leadership, and take ownership of monthly route profitability reporting. Additionally, you will develop financial models to support departmental projects and initiatives, manage the production of the annual Financial Plan model, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
- Provide financial support and guidance to the Commercial & Customer management team
- Manage a team of 4 part-qualified and unqualified staff
- Manage the monthly financial close process including production of Management Accounts with variance analysis & commentary
- Responsible for the production and presentation of timely and insightful financial analysis
- Ownership of the monthly route profitability reporting
- Develop financial modelling to support departmental projects and initiatives
- Manage the production of the annual Financial Plan model
- Seek opportunities to deliver continuous improvement
- Support to Financial Controller and deputising as applicable

You bring strong analytical skills coupled with an ability to drive insights from data. Your confidence allows you to influence decisions at all levels within the organisation. With your strong business acumen, effective communication skills and advanced Excel abilities, you are able to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
