The Role
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Finance Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day finance function. You'll be leading a small finance team of four, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-focused environment, values control and structure, and is comfortable operating in a business that moves large volumes of money daily.
Responsibilities
路 Oversee and manage the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls are maintained路 Lead, support and develop a team of four finance staff路 Prepare management accounts and financial reports路 Manage cash flow and reconciliations across high-volume transactions路 Oversee direct debits, payments, and banking relationships路 Support the year-end audit process路 Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy
What We Need to See (Essential)
路 Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar hands-on finance leadership role路 Strong staff management and team development skills路 Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy路 Experience handling high-volume financial transactions路 Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting路 Comfortable with direct debit processes and bank reconciliation
What We'd Like to See (Bonus)
路 Experience in a transaction-heavy or regulated environment路 Previous experience in an SME or fast-paced business setting路 Familiarity with accounting systems and finance process automation
Package拢50,000 - 拢60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
