Are you an experienced accountancy professional with a strong grasp of ICAEW reporting standards and anti-money laundering regulations? We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Practice Manager to join our clients growing firm in North Manchester.

About The Role - Practice Manager:

As Practice Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while upholding the highest standards in compliance, reporting, and client service. You will be instrumental in guiding the team, overseeing workflows, and ensuring compliance with ICEAW and AML requirements.

Key Responsibilities - Practice Manager:

  • Manage the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
  • Oversee compliance with ICEAW reporting requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory changes.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the firm meets its obligations under Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation, including ongoing monitoring, training, and internal reviews.
  • Work closely with partners to support business development and client relationship management.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff to maintain a high standard of service and technical quality.

What we’re looking for - Practice Manager:

  • Essential: Strong and current knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations applicable to UK accountancy firms.
  • Essential: Sound understanding of ICEAW reporting requirements.
  • Desirable:ACA qualified, or working towards ACA with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven leadership and practice management experience within an accountancy or professional services environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
