Private Tax Senior Manager Manchester or Leeds £75,000 - £90,000 DOE Would you like to work with a large and prestigious client base? Do you enjoy advising individuals and business owners on complex tax queries? Would you like to work as part of one best the best private tax teams in the UK? I'm currently working with a big 4 accountancy firm in the North who are looking to bring in either a strong Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to working in their private tax function, either based out of Manchester or Leeds. The role:In your new role you will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of tax advisory services to privately owned businesses, wealthy individuals/families, and private equity portfolios across the UK. A purely tax advisory focused role you responsibilities will include:

  • As Senior Manager / Manager you will assist the running of the overall national practice supporting with both corporate and private client tax queries.
  • The portfolio you is an expansive one meaning you will get exposure to a very broad range of tax advisory projects, dealing with a variety of well known businesses and individuals across the UK.
  • Supervising and coaching more junior members of staff working closely with other Directors and Partners.
  • Maintaining a high level of tax knowledge both in the UK and internationally.
  • Key stakeholder management within the firm whilst handling key client engagements.

What experience do you need?

  • Practice trained UK tax professional (ACA/ACCA/CTA)
  • Experience working with privately owned businesses / business owners / families / PE.
  • Proven experience managing teams and able to be client facing building long lasting relationships.
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Sound general accounting knowledge
