Your new companyA leading financial services / asset management and financial services company with new offices in Manchester City Centre is seeking an experienced Vendor Manager / Third Party Risk Manager to join their growing team. The company is a reputable firm which has won multiple awards over the years, and they have been given good reviews on Glassdoor, with employees voting them a great place to work.Your new roleThe Vendor Manager will strategically manage relationships with third-party vendors within outsourced operations, ensuring that risk is mitigated throughout the supply chain. You will formalise frameworks to manage the performance of vendors, optimise costs, reduce risks and govern service levels. As Vendor Manager, you will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure that vendor contracts and agreements adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines, including SYSC 8. You will lead in monitoring each of these areas, as well as producing reports on them and developing strategies. In this role, you will lead on the development, implementation, and maintenance of vendor performance dashboards, management reports and executive summaries. You will evaluate financial data to ensure the company obtains the highest value and expected returns on investment, and you'll put forward any recommendations to management.What you'll need to succeed

  • An extensive background in vendor management within a financial services / asset management environment
  • Ability to build and develop lasting commercial relationships
  • Strong working knowledge of regulations surrounding investment (SYSC 8 for example)
  • Ideally, you will be degree educated, or similar.
