Financial Advisor Role Overview:

As a Self-Employed Financial Advisor, you will take full control of your career, offering tailored financial advice to clients based on their unique needs. You will be responsible for managing your own client base, building relationships, and delivering high-quality, compliant financial solutions.

Financial Advisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent, holistic financial advice across a wide range of products, including pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning.
  • Maintain and grow your client base by offering bespoke advice tailored to individual needs and goals.
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients, acting as their key financial advisor and managing their wealth.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure clients’ financial plans remain on track, adapting strategies, as necessary.
  • Work independently, managing your own schedule and client portfolio.
  • Provide proactive advice on financial matters, helping clients make informed decisions and achieve their financial goals.
  • Utilise cutting-edge technology, research tools, and back-office support to streamline your workflow.

Financial Advisor Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Advisor, with a strong track record of managing your own client base (this is essential).
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Fully qualified to advise on pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning.
  • Existing client base (essential) and the ability to bring clients with you or generate new leads through your network.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • FCA authorised or in the process of gaining FCA authorization.
  • Familiarity with financial planning software and CRM systems is a plus.
