The client that I am working with is looking for an enthusiastic contract to come in and hit the ground running with inspections ranging from A's-E's. This is a superb opportunity to work for a large local council. The Council is situated in the North West, Greater Manchester region and easily accessible by road or public transport from Lancashire and the surrounding area.

It is essential that you have the Environmental Health Degree. With a track record of carrying out high risk Food inspections.

You'll be working around a vibrant and busy city with plenty going on, everyday will be different!

Your role and responsibility:

  • Ability to carry out high risk food hygiene / food standards inspections.

  • Investigate food complaints.

  • Investigate infectious disease notifications.

  • Ability to take enforcement action, accurately draft Improvement / Emergency Hygiene Prohibition notices.

Contract length would be 6months and potentially going up to a year.

With rates to be discussed based on experience.
