Customs Coordinator - ManchesterLocation: Manchester, M23Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30

Be Part of a Growing Global Logistics Team

Due to continued global expansion, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator to join our busy Logistics Team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in customs and compliance within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate import and export activities in line with HMRC and other relevant regulations

  • Work with customs legal counsel on export controls and licensing requirements

  • Manage HMRC duty liabilities to help minimise cost

  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, agents, and customs authorities to resolve any issues

  • Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate records

  • Submit customs entry amendments to HMRC

  • Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least two years of experience in Exports, Imports, and Customs Compliance

  • Strong knowledge of UK and EU customs regulations and procedures

  • Experience using the Customs Declaration Service for both imports and exports

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage workload independently and work effectively as part of a team

  • Flexibility with working hours including occasional weekend work if required

  • Desirable but not essential knowledge of ETSF, transit procedures, and road transport or logistics
