Are you passionate about supporting learners and making a difference in the mental health and social care sectors? We're looking for a dedicated tutor to deliver Autism and Mental Health qualifications up to Level 3, through a hybrid model of face-to-face and remote delivery. Youll provide personalised, engaging teaching that helps learners progress and achieve their goals, while supporting their wellbeing and promoting a culture of safeguarding. This role involves teaching across Greater Manchester and contributing to the continuous improvement of our education provision.

What youll do

  • Deliver accredited qualifications and wider learning in accordance with awarding body and Standguide policies and procedures
  • Provide effective verbal and written feedback on learning so that learners make good progress and achieve qualification and wider learning objectives
  • Assess and monitor learner progress in line with company policies and procedures, intervening where necessary to ensure that all learners achieve their full potential
  • Conduct effective initial assessment for referred learners, identifying accurate starting points, and designing appropriate Individual Learning Plans
  • Demonstrate full commitment to learner and staff wellbeing, working within company safeguarding and prevent policy and procedure and promoting a culture of vigilance at all times
  • Deliver engaging personalised learning so that all learners make progress and achieve their individual goals.


What youll need

  • Appropriate teaching qualification e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE
  • Vocational tutors: competence and industry experience in relevant sector; and assessor qualification
  • Evidence of recent relevant CPD
  • Ability to teach across a range of qualifications
  • Experience of effective personalised teaching and learning for learners experiencing diverse barriers
  • Experience of successful delivery of accredited qualifications
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Ability to use administrative systems and procedures to manage the learner journey
  • Clean driving licence and full-time access to car as this role requires travel.

Overseas equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
