This highly regarded Manchester agency is on the search for vibrant, experienced, and passionate B2B-focused Account Manager or Senior Account Manager join and help develop their award-winning team.

The client portfolio will be centred around the built environment, trade, and manufacturing. They have lots of new biz both within B2B and corporate communications, so that list is not exhaustive.

They are looking for a strategic communicator with a strong editorial instinct and a deep understanding of B2B and corporate communications? Can you turn complex topics into compelling narratives and build trusted relationships with clients and media alike? If so, they’d love to meet you!

You’ll play a central role in leading high-impact campaigns for a range of clients—crafting engaging content, developing intelligent strategies, and delivering measurable results that deliver real business impact.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Writing high-quality content—from press releases and bylines, to white papers, case studies, and thought leadership articles—that speak directly to key decision makers and reflect client tone and purpose.
  • Managing campaigns end-to-end, including overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including timelines, budgets, media outreach, and internal workflows.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying opportunities to add value, solve challenges, and grow the account.
  • Coaching junior team members, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to a supportive, high-performance team culture.
  • Supporting new business and organic growth through insight-led recommendations, pitch development, and strategic proposals.

You should apply if…

  • Proven experience in B2B and/or corporate communications, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape—especially within trade, national business, and specialist sectors.
  • A strategic mindset, with confidence in advising senior stakeholders and developing integrated communications plans.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
