Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Manchester

We have partnered with a Legal 500 firm in Manchester who is seeking an experienced Solicitor with expertise in clinical negligence matters to join its Band 1 Chambers ranked practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to the team, ensuring proactive and commercial case management
  • Support the Team Leader in achieving financial performance KPIs and effective time recording
  • Discuss and plan case tactics with the team, identifying cases ready for LOC, settlement and service
  • Manage a caseload proactively, coordinating case progression with all parties
  • Draft legal documentation, negotiate settlements, issue proceedings and oversee team documentation

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence with excellent organisational, time management, communication and drafting skills
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office, Proclaim and Excel, with attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Ability to mentor junior team members, commitment to achieving results and meeting deadlines and excellent client care skills
