The team is dedicated to helping clients across the UK who are living in unsafe or unsuitable housing conditions, ensuring they receive the support and representation they need. With a strong reputation for delivering excellent service and consistently high client satisfaction ratings, we are looking for motivated and like-minded individuals to be part of a growing team.

Job SummaryAs Team Leader, you will manage and support your team to ensure policies and procedures are followed, targets are achieved, and high standards are maintained. You will lead by example, set clear expectations, and provide structure while fostering a positive, collaborative, and adaptable working environment that motivates and inspires your team.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop team members to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Oversee workload allocation, prioritisation, and performance monitoring.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and mentoring through 1-2-1s, team meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Run your own caseload with paralegal support.
  • Audit and supervise work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Handle staff absence, probation reviews, and performance issues where needed.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Contribute to process improvements and departmental development.
  • Maintain awareness of housing disrepair legislation and sector changes.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders and departments to resolve challenges and share best practice.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' litigation experience.
  • At least 6 months' housing disrepair experience.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication - written and verbal.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Able to handle high-volume caseloads and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; case management software experience desirable.
