People Solutions are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our well-established client based in Trafford Park, Manchester

Day to Day Duties:

• Delivery of palletized stock (general haulage)
• Be able to use Tail-lift and pump truck
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills:

• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving a CE vehicles
• Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
• Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card & UK License
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience with multidrop deliveries will be beneficial

Training:

• Training provided on first shift
