Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for a talented Ladies Knitwear Designer to join their friendly and growing team
Based in the vibrant heart of Manchester, this is a brilliant opportunity for a confident and self-motivated designer who is ready to take the lead in a rapidly expanding business
You'll be working at the mid to premium level, involved from initial concept through to customer meetings and presentations

You'll need a strong eye for emerging trends and a solid understanding of yarns, construction, and the full design-to-delivery process
Main Responsibilities & Duties will include :
* Transforming trends into commercially successful knitwear collections
* Using market insights to guide product development and deliver tailored ranges
* Creating seasonal in-house collections for a variety of customers
* Collaborating with product development teams to bring concepts to life
* Driving innovation by identifying fresh ideas and upcoming trends
* Producing detailed hand-drawn specs for development
* Managing overseas supplier communication and development independently
* Presenting collections and leading customer meetings with professionalism and confidence
Person Specification :
* Previous experience in ladies knitwear design preferably some supplier experience
* Proficient in CAD and Adobe Illustrator
* Excellent trend awareness with a passion for design
* Confident presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with buyers
* Strong communication skills across all levels
* In-depth knowledge of yarns, gauges, and garment construction
