Belmont recruitment are looking to speak with practicing and qualified NMP’s with valid V300 certificates to work within a selection of substance misuse private charities throughout Manchester including areas such as Oldham, Stretford, Salford and Stockport.

As a nonmedical prescriber within a substance misuse charity, you will be responsible for delivering client centred interventions with individuals facing substance misuse issues and involve families and advocates when necessary. You will take the lead on alcohol interventions and ambulatory detoxification programmes as well as offering substitute prescribing regimes to improve and promote recovery regarding drug and alcohol abuse. Furthermore you will initiate service users with titration and offer a substitute prescribing regime via the support of the pharmacy consumption scheme.

  • DBS on the update service required.
  • Paying £43-£46p/h (depending on experience)
  • Working flexible hours that suit you (part time-3 days a week or full time-5 days a week).
