R2R Reconciliations Manager | £55,000 - £65,000 + 10% bonus | TV/Film | Manchester (hybrid - 2 days in office) | Permanent
An R2R Reconciliations Manger is required to join a well-established and highly regarded TV/Film company based in Manchester on a permanent basis. This role is part of a large, modern finance function and is key to ensuring best-in-class reconciliations and driving continuous improvement during a period of digital transformation.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, and managing a team of Accountants and Assistant Accountants, this position will suit a confident and experienced finance leader who can drive performance, increase automation, and maintain robust financial controls.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team & the reconciliations function
- Overseeing accurate and timely delivery of balance sheet, revenue, and cost account reconciliations
- Encouraging the use of automated reconciliation software's across the business
- Standardising and embedding consistent reconciliation processes and policies
- Supporting regular ERP system releases and ensuring system controls remain robust
- Driving a culture of digital transformation and continuous improvement
- Preparing documentation for audit and ensuring full compliance with internal controls
- Resolving discrepancies and addressing aged reconciliation items
- Collaborating closely with peers across Finance Operations and other departments
- Developing team capability and eliminating single points of failure
What they are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a financial accounting or reconciliations team (4-8+ people) within a fast-paced, large, change-focused environment. Strong technical knowledge of reconciliations, month-end processes, and ERP systems is essential, with Oracle Fusion and ARCS experience being particularly beneficial.
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or a highly experienced QBE, with a solid track record in managing reconciliation processes and delivering continuous improvement in large or complex organisations, ideally within a shared service or centralised finance structure.
