- Work closely with fee earners to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
- Maintain fee earners’ diaries and stay informed of their daily commitments.
- Coordinate and schedule telephone and video conferences, as well as meeting room bookings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including post distribution.
- Perform copy and audio typing tasks with speed and accuracy.
- Monitor workload priorities and communicate any changes with fee earners.
- Liaise with clients and take instructions under the supervision of fee earners.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly billing.
- Draft and prepare legal documents using established precedents, under supervision.
- Prepare forms and reports as required by fee earners.
- Screen, prioritise, and manage calls, including voicemail messages.
- Respond to client inquiries and follow up on matters in the absence of fee earners, where appropriate.
- Accurately input and submit time records.
- Experience in Employment Law and working within a legal environment is desirable.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
