About the Role


As a Planning Surveyor, youll act as a subject matter expert, driving the delivery of high-impact projects across diverse client programmes. From mobile network upgrades to solar PV and EV installations, and the continued rollout of StreetHub, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure of the future.
You'll be responsible for managing a high volume of planning activity, collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and delivery partners to secure the planning rights that make these projects possible.


Key Responsibilities


* Conduct site surveys and planning appraisals to assess project feasibility.
* Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications from inception through to approval and appeal.
* Provide expert planning advice to stakeholders across multiple programmes.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
* Manage delivery activity directly and through third-party suppliers.


What We're Looking For


* Proven experience in planning within the telecoms sector.
* Strong knowledge of the General Permitted Development Order (GPDO) and its application in telecoms.
* Familiarity with the Electronic Communications Code and its influence on planning and legal outcomes.
* A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple client programmes.
