V7 are working with a close client, a Manufacturer of Pumps within the Utilities industry, who are currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor.

The business are a global operator with Manufacturing workshops across the UK.

They are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join their Manchester branch and oversee engineering and manufacturing works within the facility.

On offer is a salary of up to 45,000 DOE plus benefits.

Key duties:

Actively contribute to and support the Operations Management Team.

  • To ensure the safety and well-being of the department team including PPE compliance.
  • Lead and supervise workshop employees to ensure their active engagement to being productive and efficient through the achievement of overall contribution to department KPIs.
  • Ensuring quality of service and compliance in legislation and standards through effective technical risk management including Health & Safety, the provision of accurate technical data which supports quality initiatives and right first time practice.
  • Work within the departmental policies and procedures.
  • Actively support the Strategic Plan and provide timely and accurate planning and allocation of resource.
  • Responsibility for NCR recording, investigation and resolution including preventative action.
  • Identifying and implementing improvement projects, developing the service and the team capabilities.
