Eden Brown are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.
As a Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer, you'll have the opportunity to teach and mentor students, equipping them with the practical skills, knowledge, and industry insight needed to succeed in the ever-evolving construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in carpentry and joinery to a diverse group of students
* Develop and prepare course materials, ensuring they are aligned with current industry standards
* Assess student's work and provide constructive feedback to support their progression
* Contribute to the development of new curriculum initiatives and vocational training programmes
* Support and mentor students in both classroom and workshop settings
About You:
* A strong background in carpentry and joinery, with relevant industry experience
* Teaching experience is desirable but not essential a passion for educating and inspiring others is key
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. CertEd, PGCE) or willingness to work towards one
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
