Curriculum and Performance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Curriculum Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our curriculum. This role involves managing learning coaches, ensuring the effective operation of learner journey processes, curriculum design, learner progression, and maintaining high quality of provision.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the learning coaches, ensuring optimal learner to staff ratios and conducting monthly performance reviews based on learner experience and quality outcomes.
  • Oversee the CIAG, initial assessments, and induction processes to ensure learners are appropriately placed in programs.
  • Monitor and act on learner retention strategies, identifying and supporting at-risk learners.
  • Develop and continually adjust an innovative curriculum with supporting learning resources based on feedback to enhance achievement rates.
  • Coordinate quarterly standardisation meetings to ensure consistent implementation across the curriculum and share best practices among learning coaches.
  • Organize assessments, exams, and EPA across the curriculum, ensuring compliance with awarding organisation requirements.
  • Conduct monthly work scrutiny to ensure high-quality learning experiences, including timely planning, delivery, marking, assessment, and feedback.
  • Embed core skills like English, Maths, and ICT/digital skills across the curriculum.
  • Plan and timetable off-the-job delivery/classroom sessions and ensure integration of Prevent, British Values, Safeguarding, and EDI into the curriculum.
  • Support learners with special educational needs to successfully complete their programs.
  • Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values and behaviours.
  • Deliver comprehensive inductions and ongoing CPD for learning coaches based on work scrutiny and QTLA outcomes.
  • Liaise with Awarding Organisations to reflect curriculum changes and establish progression pathways for learners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Certificate in Education (Level 4) or equivalent, or working towards it.
  • Vocational experience in one curriculum area of responsibility (Level 3).
  • Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Desirable qualifications include PGCE, QTLS, and a management qualification.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop delivery teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience in managing educational programs in line with quality standards and funding rules.
Financial Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to organisational financial regulations.
  • Manage staff to learner ratio effectively.
  • Ensure less than 5% unfunded learners on the program.
  • Ensure timely submission of funding documents.
