Our client, a social housing provider in Manchester, is recruiting for a Fire Alarm and Security Systems Engineer to join their team on an initial temporary basis to cover sickness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and minor works related to fire alarm systems and security systems.

Responsibilities of the Fire and Security Engineer includes:

  • Installing fire alarm and intruder alarm systems across commercial and domestic properties
  • Ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Programming and configuring systems to meet the specific needs of each site.
  • Conducting thorough testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure they are fully operational.
  • Performing routine maintenance and servicing of fire alarms, security systems, and related equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults.
  • Undertake small system modifications as required, including upgrades, expansions, and enhancements.
