Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs? We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Night Support Worker to join our specialist residential care service in Manchester, supporting individuals experiencing alcohol and drug misuse, mental health challenges, and dual diagnosis.

This role requires flexibility, including the ability to cover occasional day shifts when needed to ensure consistent care and support across the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver overnight support to residents in a safe and therapeutic environment

  • Perform regular welfare checks and manage any incidents or emergencies with professionalism

  • Offer emotional and practical support to service users on their recovery journey

  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide detailed handovers to the day team

  • Support a trauma-informed, person-centred approach to care

  • Be flexible to cover day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) when required due to staffing or resident needs

Requirements:
  • Experience in mental health, substance misuse, or homelessness support preferred

  • Knowledge of addiction recovery, dual diagnosis, and risk management

  • Calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to challenging behaviours

  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport (essential)

  • Able to work 36-48 hours per week, including some weekends and public holidays

  • Flexibility to cover day shifts as part of a rota or when required
