We're on the lookout for a confident and passionateDeputy General Managerto join the leadership team atThe Fletchers Arms- a much-loved pub at the heart ofDenton.
This rare opportunity offers the chance to be part of a brilliant team that delivers warm hospitality, excellent food and drink, and memorable moments for our guests. AsDeputy General Manageryou'll be the right hand to our General Manager, helping to run the pub day-to-day.We are looking for a natural leader with infectious enthusiasm, previous supervisory or management experience, and a genuine passion for the guest experience.
The Fletchers Arms is managed by Zac who over the last 6 years has risen through the ranks at Almond Family Pubs. Zac has grown a strong and stable team that pride themselves on a well-pulled pint and first class food quality and service. In 2023 the pub underwent a massive refurbishment and still looks fantastic today - a stylish and welcoming space for both diners and drinkers.

What we need from you
- Passion for hospitality - someone who genuinely cares about delivering memorable experiences
- Operational knowledge - a strong understanding of pub operations from cellar management to cashing up
- Leadership - confidence in leading and motivating a team and stepping up in the GM's absence
- Flexibility and reliability - willingness to adapt to the needs of the business
- Communication skills - clear and professional communication with both guests and team members
- Problem solving - calm under pressure and solutions focused
- Health and Safety - knowledge and understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
