Business Lecturer - FTE (24 Hours of teaching)Location: Stockport and Marple CampusStart Date: September 2025Contract: Temporary - 10 months for Full Academic YearHours: 24 hours per week teachingSalary: £28-33 pound per hourThe Role:You will be responsible for teaching and assessing across BTEC Levels 1-3 as well as the T Level in Business and accounting. The role also includes tutoring responsibilities - supporting students with their academic and personal development, tracking progress, and mentoring them towards their future career paths.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of Business programmes
- Assess and monitor student progress in line with course requirements
- Tutor and support a designated group of learners
- Contribute to the planning and development of course materials
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress
About You:
- A degree in a relevant Business subject area
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one within two years)
- Confident in delivering both BTEC and T Level content
- Passionate about teaching and committed to student success
