- Support a small class of pupils with SEMH needs, working closely with the class teacher
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
- Help manage behaviour and promote emotional regulation strategies
- Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress
- Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Support pupils during transitions, break times, and off-site activities
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
- Understanding of behaviour management and emotional support strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting pupils
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
