SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary position starting as soon as possibleWe are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school environment.   • Support a small class of pupils with SEMH needs, working closely with the class teacher
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
  • Help manage behaviour and promote emotional regulation strategies
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress
  • Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Support pupils during transitions, break times, and off-site activities
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
  • Understanding of behaviour management and emotional support strategies
