Teaching Assistant (SEN School) - Manchester

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Manchester. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of complex needs in a nurturing and structured environment.



The Role

  • Provide classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.

  • Assist the teacher with delivering engaging, accessible lessons.

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using Team-Teach strategies (full training provided).

  • Support pupils with personal care and daily routines where required.

  • Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.



About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in SEN schools or care settings (essential).

  • Is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

  • Can work effectively as part of a team, as well as use initiative.

  • Is reliable, flexible and committed to making a difference in young people's lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
