Job Title: Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary
Location: South Manchester

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school environment?
We are working closely with a number of vibrant and welcoming primary schools in South Manchester who are seeking Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants for full-time roles across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

These are excellent opportunities for dedicated support staff who are passionate about making a positive difference in children's education and wellbeing.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT:

All applicants must have a minimum of three months' experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school to be considered.

The Role:
  • Supporting pupils in class, 1:1 or in small groups

  • Assisting the class teacher with preparation and classroom management

  • Delivering interventions where appropriate (phonics, reading, maths etc.)

  • Encouraging pupil participation, progress and positive behaviour

  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • At least 3 months of experience in a UK primary classroom setting

  • A good understanding of the primary curriculum and age-appropriate strategies

  • Confidence working with children of varying abilities, including those with SEND or EAL

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A flexible, proactive and positive attitude
