Rate of Pay: 103.95 - 110.00 per day
Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Are you a patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young learners at primary level?
We are working with a friendly, inclusive primary school in Prestwich seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact on pupils who benefit from additional encouragement, structure, and tailored support in their learning.
Classroom experience is advantageous but not essential-a strong understanding of supporting children in an educational setting is required.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with pupils, understanding their individual learning needs and providing targeted support during lessons.
Assist with behaviour management, promoting positive routines and helping children regulate their emotions.
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children (in school or alternative settings) is beneficial.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach.
Willingness to work as part of a team and follow school policies and procedures.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years.
