Are you a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding, long-term opportunity in a vibrant primary school?

We’re working in partnership with a supportive primary school in Altrincham that is seeking a dedicated Level 2 or 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom and support children in achieving their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing targeted support to pupils, including those with additional needs. You may be working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience and school need.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting individuals and small groups in their learning

• Helping to prepare and maintain a positive learning environment

• Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour

• Contributing to planning and assessment under the guidance of the teacher

• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

• Previous experience in a primary school setting (essential)

• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and how to support learning at different stages

• Confident supporting children with SEND or EAL

• Proactive, reliable, and passionate about making a difference

• A good understanding of safeguarding and child development
