Location: Moston, Manchester Salary: 450-550 per week



Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.15am-3.45pm (Wednesday until 4.30pm) Start date: ASAP

We are recruiting a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Moston area of Manchester. This is a full-time position, providing general classroom support as well as some 1:1 assistance to pupils who require additional help.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting children in their learning journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons across the Year 4 curriculum

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils, helping them to stay on task and achieve learning objectives

  • Supporting classroom organisation, preparing resources, and contributing to a positive learning environment

  • Encouraging pupil engagement and promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies

  • Helping to monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to the teacher where necessary
