Revenue Manager Highly Regarded Hotel Operator
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £45,000£50,000 + 10% Bonus + Company Benefits
Hours: Full time (40 Hours)

Note: You must have strong revenue management experience within a quality hotel operator and strong local market knowledge to be considered for this role. This is a full-time site-based role.

Our client, a highly respected hotel operator, is seeking an experienced Revenue Manager with excellent local market insight to join their established team based in Manchester City Centre. You will take full responsibility for the hotels revenue management strategy while working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimise overall commercial performance.

This role requires a commercially driven leader with strong analytical focus, excellent communication skills, and proven experience building relationships with third-party agents and key stakeholders. You will set revenue targets for yourself and the team, leading a small but highly capable group to continued success.

We are looking for a results-focused individual who is organised, analytical, and passionate about revenue growth and profit conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set, analyse, and optimise revenue strategies for the business.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments, especially Sales and Marketing, to drive revenue performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party agents and external partners.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing, segmentation, and distribution strategies.
  • Produce accurate daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts and performance reports.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage OTA relationships, promotional activity, and channel performance.
  • Oversee rate parity, availability, and inventory management across all platforms.
  • Support marketing campaigns and initiatives to improve conversion.
  • Lead revenue meetings and deliver insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and revenue management best practices.
  • Manage and support an experienced Sales Events team.
  • Apply revenue management principles to maximise profit and drive effective decision-making.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Revenue Manager within a quality hotel operator.
  • Strong knowledge of the Manchester/local hotel market.
  • Proficient in revenue management systems (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, RMS) and PMS/CRS platforms.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills.
  • Strong financial and commercial understanding of hotel performance.
  • Experience managing an established revenue team.
  • Excellent research capability and market analysis skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results driven.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build positive internal and external relationships.
  • Passionate about revenue management and maximising profit.
