HR Manager 

  • Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office

Medlock Partners are supporting a leading national professional services firm in seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its established HR team. This is a generalist role providing both strategic and operational HR support across multiple offices, working closely with business leaders and employees to deliver a high-quality, proactive HR service.

The Role

You will:

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice on employment law, policy, and best practice
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Support performance, salary review, and promotion cycles
  • Oversee induction, probation, and absence management processes
  • Lead payroll coordination and benefits administration
  • Support recruitment in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Maintain and develop HR policies and systems (currently PeopleHR)
  • Deliver HR projects to enhance engagement, culture, and retention

About You

You will bring:

  • Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within a professional services environment
  • At least one year of experience at HR Manager level
  • Strong employee relations and change management experience
  • A solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing TUPE processes (in and out)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • CIPD qualification (fully or part-qualified) or equivalent experience
  • Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
