What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing customer queries and escalations via phone, email, and face-to-face
  • Collaborating with imports, exports, charter, domestic transport, and warehouse teams
  • Raising and resolving issues with partners
  • Handling spot quotes and supporting sales calls
  • Developing a "hot prospect" list of new opportunities and recovering lost business
  • Supporting external sales and onboarding new customers
  • Driving efficiencies and identifying cost savings in processes
  • Producing reports on turnover, margins, bookings, and business performance
  • Contributing to project work and KPI tracking
  • Staying up to date with compliance through training sessions
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service or account management within freight forwarding
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with excellent time management
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Background in road freight and proven internal sales experience
