The Company:

Lorien Global is partnering with a prominent organisation seeking a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen their IT department. You will be essential in maintaining and enhancing their important infrastructure.

The Role:

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead infrastructure builds, drive automation initiatives, and oversee deployments to ensure a resilient and scalable production environment that supports continuous growth. A key aspect of this role will involve providing training and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their technical development and contributing to the overall growth of the team. Your expertise in automation and scalability across a VMware platform will be crucial to succeed in this role.

The Requirements:

  • Must have strong skills with VMware technologies and working with VMware at scale
  • Proven experience with infrastructure automation tools and techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2016+) and CentOS-based Linux systems
  • Proven experience managing and supporting key Windows Server roles (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Clustering, IIS)
  • Strong grasp of networking principles
  • Significant experience working within an IT support function, following ITIL best practices
