Finance Systems Administrator

Permanent - £30,000pa - £35,000pa

Remote (occasional travel to Manchester site)

I am supporting a fantastic client looking for an experienced Finance Systems Administrator to join their growing Finance Team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role is fully remote but there is a requirement to go to their site in Manchester occasionally.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Finance Systems Administrator to manage and support our financial software applications and ERP systems. This role will serve as the bridge between the finance and IT departments to ensure that our systems meet business needs, maintain data accuracy, and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities as a Finance Systems Administrator:

  • Support the maintenance, reliability, and integrity of financial systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and assist users with timely resolutions.
  • Contribute to system upgrades, implementations, and training initiatives.
  • Prepare and distribute reports for stakeholders and assist in data analysis.
  • Conduct system audits and support compliance efforts.
  • Document procedures and support process improvements.
  • Train finance users on new features, tools, and system updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting financial systems (e.g., ERP, budgeting tools, reporting platforms).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, or similar.
  • Familiarity with accounting and finance processes (e.g., general ledger, AP/AR, budgeting, forecasting).
  • Proficiency in Excel.
