Lorien are currently partnered with a UK top 50 law firm who are currently seeking a Systems Analyst in a newly created role for someone with a background in internal systems such as MS SharePoint.

MS SharePoint was brought into the business in late 2023 and they are looking for a Systems Analyst that can help with bringing the most out of the product across the business. They would be looking for someone to support across the 3 Pillars of SharePoint that would be the intranet, knowledge portal and directory. You would ensure the content, layout and search tools are delivering the best experience for end users and quick access.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively review content and liaise with relevant stakeholders and other site owners to keep continuous improvement of resources
  • Facilitation and overseeing the upload of new materials onto the relevant systems to ensure quality control and data cleansing of new records as/when required
  • Consulting with stakeholders to refine and expand systems with consistency and application of such activity is paramount.
  • Working with the IT Team to work on usage tracking - this would include the building, maintaining, implementing and developing BI report capability to stakeholders
  • Maintenance of documentation including best practice and user guides.
  • Collaborate with IT to address any functional issues with the systems with proactive proposals to the Head of department. This could include enhancement to the systems itself.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Content Management Software, Databases and tools such as SharePoint or similar vendors in a Law firm or other regulated environments
  • Systems/Business Analyst background
  • Strong Stakeholder Management
  • Strong organisation and presentation skills.

The salary for this role is up to £50,000 with a discretionary bonus based on company performance, private medical, standard pension and 25 days annual leave plus BH.

The role is based on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week working from the Manchester office. They do have other offices across the UK and travel to those offices could be part of this.

Unfortunately this client does not offer sponsorship and you must be within a commutable distance of Manchester City Centre.
