Senior Sustaianbility Consultant

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented and forward-thinking Senior Sustainability Consultant to join a prestigious, innovation-driven engineering and sustainability practice. This highly respected consultancy is known for delivering industry-leading sustainable design strategies, pioneering environmental performance standards, and shaping the future of low-carbon development across the UK.

Essential Criteria

  • BREEAM Accredited Professional or BREEAM Assessor status.

  • Strong experience delivering sustainability consultancy within the built-environment sector.

  • Proven project leadership experience across RIBA stages.

  • Competency in building performance modelling (e.g., Part L, Part O, overheating, operational energy).

  • Experience delivering BREEAM, HQM or WELL assessments.

  • Ability to lead client workshops and communicate complex information clearly.

  • Experience mentoring junior team members and delegating project tasks.

  • Strong knowledge of energy strategies, whole-life carbon, net-zero frameworks.



Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with TM54, NABERS UK, ApacheSim/IES or PHPP.

  • Knowledge of circular economy, environmental impact assessments, or climate adaptation.

  • Fee proposal development and/or line management experience.

  • Chartership or working towards Chartership.
