Salary: Up to £53,196 per annumÂ
Hours: 4 On 4 Off, 07:00 – 19:00

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or LGV Fitter to join a well-established workshop in Trafford Park. This 4 on 4 off shift pattern provides excellent work-life balance while working on a variety of HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities for HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or LGV Fitter:
Service and maintain HGVs and commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Complete job cards, service records, and compliance documentation accurately
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workshop workflow
Engage in ongoing training and technical development
Skills and Qualifications for HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or LGV Fitter:
Essential:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or LGV Fitter
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- HGV Class 1 licence
- Experience with Scania or main dealer vehicles
- Positive, team-focused attitude
