We are working with a dynamic and hugely successful Insurer who are looking to add to their growing team of Scheme & Affinity expert Underwriters.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Working with new and existing broker partners to identify, implement and launch new schemes and affinities
- Operate within your underwriting authority working closely with senior stakeholders across the UKÂ business.
- Work within underwriting empowerment and make referrals as appropriate
- Comfortable trading face to face with intermediaries or clients.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Strong knowledge of underwriting - preferably in a Professional Indemnity, Property & Casualty
- Demonstrated high level of technical expertise.
- An understanding of underwriting risks within a scheme arrangement
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners at all levels.
- Capacity to work independently and effectively manage workload and diary.
- Strong ability to identify, analyse and solve problems as well as to learn rapidly, adapt quickly to change, and manage and prioritise multiple concurrent projects.
- Skilled in exercising independent judgment and making critical business decisions effectively.
The Reward
- Salary circa £50,000 plus London weighting
